Happy Running - Running as ONE today

Original I siged up to run 10k. I could not find any races. I did wear my shirt and headed out for an 8 mile run. I downloaded my bib. Here is a pic.

I made a small donation to the MSKCC - Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (didn't mention it before, I wanted to make sure the check cleared first- lol) I did not dedicate my run specifically, but if I did it would be to my grandmother. She passed away about 9 years ago. She couldn't walk; but that wouldn't stop her from cheering on the marathoners as they ran past her block on 4th ave (approx. 3-4 miles on the NYC Marathon route)

She held this sign (below) Nov 1994 the year my uncle ran it. Who would have known that 13 years later I would be running it. I knew she watching me run from above.
