First order of shirts got here today. Our running club met again tonight for the weekly run. Everyone loved the design and color of shirt. We are going to wear them on our next road run.  

To have been organized, locally, in only 6 days, the World Run Day - Jay, FL event was a huge success. Seventeen runners met on a beautiful day in northwest Florida to run for the benefit of others. Such a simple concept of pick your favorite spot, run your favorite distance, donate to your favorite charity; had each of us excited.

This year we have chosen our charity to be the angel tree at the local school. We will sponsor a child's Christmas. We plan to be much bigger, and able to give much more next year. Perhaps what we are most excited about is sharing this great run with other running clubs in our area. This simple idea, originated by Bill McDermott, has the potential of making an even bigger impact

as it snowballs around the globe, and we want to be a part of that.
