Our little Cross Country Team Valley Tigers, with the Spokane SYSA, ran to raise money for the Union Gospel Mission. We raised $350.00 and had 12 kids from the age of 1 to 12 years of age involved, 7 adults and a dog. We ran along the Spokane River and had a blast, after wards we came back to my house and had a chili feed because our goal was to help others stay warm, and what makes you warm after a run than chili and apple cider???? The kids love to run but felt they made a difference in our community and want to double our giving and size for next year. I have enclosed a few pictures and the saying from our firstgiving website and we would like to thank you for this, we enjoyed it....
Our little Cross Country team, is trying to raise money to Support Spokane's Union Gospel Mission. We love running and thought this would be a great way to raise money for a wonderful local charity and awareness that running is fun and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
We will be running November 9th at 11:59am , joining others with the 10th Annual World Day Run! We will be starting at the Argonne Rd Centennial Trail to Plantes Ferry Park , where we weekly run and back again! Come and join us or help us out by sponsoring our team.
