We are the Hampton Roads Runners!

We are not an organization per se, but we have volunteer organizers who schedule running meetups throughout the week, in several areas of Hampton Roads.

Our meetups cover nearly all ability levels, which makes it fun and supportive.

One of the Hampton Roads Runners organizers scheduled a meetup at Mount Trashmore in Virginia Beach to create awareness of World Run Day. 10 running enthusiasts and one member/runner photographer came out to support the event. We all had fun running and getting to know each other.

After running, goody bags donated by J Mart Japanese Grocery were handed out for all to enjoy.

The World Run Day concept is catching on in Hampton Roads and next year’s event will be bigger and better.
