WORLD RUN DAY - Wilkesboro, NC:

Good evening Bill,

First let me say that I am so grateful to God for blessing me with the health and ability to enjoy this wonderful day and for having the opportunity to be part of this worthy event.  This was a wonderful experience and even though, as far as I know, I was the only participant in my town.  I had a sense of being part of something global even though I was running alone.  I am relatively still knew to running and  I only found out about this event on Friday, so I did not have time to get my shirt and organize a group.

My name is Joe Bullis and I live in Northwestern North Carolina .  I did my run at the Yadkin River Greenway which is a walking, running and biking path that follow several miles of one of our major rivers.  It is a beautiful area, and was even more so today with the sun shining and the fall leaves falling over the trail due to the breeze blowing.  I ran 10K in 56:23 this afternoon.  I originally planned to run 5 miles but it was such a beautiful day and I felt so good I decided to make it a 10K.

I dedicated my run to The Silent: those voices that never got a chance to be heard because of abortion.  I am Pro-Life supporter and my $100.00 donation went to Lifeline Pregnancy Help Center which is in a town near were I live.

I attached some pictures that my wife took as finished my run, in case you are would like to see them.  This was a great event and I thank you for starting it.  Next year I want to sponsor a group here in my hometown.  Looking forward to next year!

Stay Strong / Stand True,

Thanks again for you inspiration and encouragement,

Joe
