Many runners came and ran in this event (over 100) for the second year. No pictures were supplied in 2003. We await pictures from the 2004 event.
Erskine Hospital first opened it doors, at Bishopton, near Glasgow, in 1916 as an independent charity to care for the wounded returning from the battlefields of the First World War.
Since that day, through both World Wars and the modern day conflicts such as Korea, the Falklands, and Gulf, Erskine has cared for more than 65,000 sailors, soldiers and airmen and women. Each has benefited from the unique care only Erskine provides for our Armed Forces.
Although you may have missed World Run Day, feel free to make a donation to Erskine Hospital on any day throughout the year!
