The spirit of the event was great. We recorded two TV promos aimed at children; newspaper articles, and I personally did promotional interviews on both radio and TV.

Political parties rally together on World Run Day  
Joe Saliba, Jason Micallef and Harry Vassallo along with other political candidates from the three leading local political parties: Nationalist, Labour and Alternattiva Demokratika gave their support to this year's World Run Day being held on Sunday November 5 th .

Local TV Personalities Sur Gawdenz Billocca and his secretary Mary, as well as puppet stars, Mini & Griz promoted the event on the local stations to encourage children taking part on the day.   The Zurrieq ( Malta ) International Half Marathon forms part of the event and among the 150 or so taking part inthe 13 mile marathon were top local and foreign athletes.  

Fun runs were held for various ages from toddlers to adults, with over 200 taking part.
