WORLD RUN DAY - Ormstown, Quebec

Hi Bill,
Just to let you know that 13 people completed the 1st World Day Run which took place in Ormstown, Quebec (southwest of Montreal). We collected around $165. for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. the Canadian Government matches our donation by four times.

It was a very cool, sunny day 0.C. with a wind so only the brave turned out but they enjoyed the afternoon very much they reported. Hope you had great success in other places as well.

I read about the run in Runner's World then logged on to your site. Great idea. Here are a couple of photos of our gang.

It's incredible how many passionate Runner's World subscribers e-mailed me in October and still managed to put something together for World Run Day.

Thanks Grace (and the gang) for adding World Run Day to your activities this past November 9th. Hope you can put together something in 2004 as well.
