It had all the ingredients of a good run. Great people behind it, good publicity, a great cause, and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Runners and the clear skies helped too!
For the third straight year Liz McNaney headed up World Run Day - Philadelphia with co-director Michele Minnick. With local support from sponsors a total of over $5.000 was raised for Children's Hospital (official results to be tabulated).
I met up with Liz a few weeks before the event and found a smiling, energetic volunteer with three children to keep her in shape - and of course her running! For more information on this event please visit the following link:
