In her second year, Liz McNaney co-hosted World Run Day with Michele Minnick in Philadelphia. This year it was for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where nearly $6,000 was raised. They urged runners to donate to CHOP - however, in the spirit of World Run Day 2002, they also requested they make a voluntary donation directly to a favorite local charity.
