World Run Day School Challenge:

World Run Day is teaming up with Active.com to provide a terrific Running Fundraiser for your Elementary School, High School, College or University. Our proven fundraising program is unique and has been the subject of media articles over the last 10 years.

The program is named RUN DAY and allows your school to raise a substantial amount of money just by having people exercise on the RUN DAY you create in your community. Pick any day that is covenient to host the event and contact us for materials. We'll feature you on our website, www.runday.com and help you set up a registration site and fundraising link for your charity organization(s).

It teaches the participants the value of running and the ability to make a difference throught the power of charitable donation as they get others to donate to their specific causes.

Charity organizations each year struggle with the cost of programs that help service local citizens, clean the environment, research diseases, and other types of "service for the common good."

World Run Day, in an effort to promote running and charitable causes in it's premier event World Run Day (occurs annually in November) attempts to gain more participants throughout the year through special RUN DAY events which occur every day throughout the year from January through October.

Here's how it works: Register your school or group for a RUN DAY event (date) and we'll send you a complete Event Director starter kit which includes official World Run Day Event T-shirts, posters, flyers, and a checklist of what is needed to prepare your run.

The more students that participate in the run and send e-mails to other runners and friends about the event, the better fundrasing effort you will have.

As a bonus - All participants are entered as participants in World Run Day 2009, which occurs Sunday, November 8th.
